Kusudo & Worth - Of Sun and Rain LP (Custom Fidelity) U.S. (used) $1800
Folk holy grail! Released in 1968, this LP by Ken Kusudo & Jeff Worth was issued in a mere 200 copies. Some reports state less. At any rate, it comes up on the market infrequently and each time it surfaces, the price seems to increase. Inspired by folk luminaries like Simon & Garfunkel, Baez and Dylan, this set of tracks has psych flourishes inserted. Certainly worth the hype, this is an outstanding album of obscure folk history.
The LP condition overall is a VG. Visually there are scattered light scratches w/ the two most prominent extending over 3 tracks on side 1 (see detail pic), but these are not feelable scratches, and produce an occasional tick. Light crackle throughout side 1, and a bit less on side 2. Side 2 visually is VG to VG+, with again light crackle here and there, paricularly on track 3 for some reason.
As for the sleeve, I would say a high G+, mostly due to heavier wear on the spine which has some flaking and fragility to it. Otherwise, the other two seams are intact with wear, and there is moderate corner wear. The front and back art present very well. No punch holes, no writing.
This will ship insured in the U.S., I will not be shipping this one internationally due to recent lost parcels. Any questions, or higher res pictures - please let me know (riouxs@aol.com). Thank you.
